TASTING NOTES Deep ruby red with garnet reflections. On the nose it expresses enveloping aromas of ripe plum, cherry and plum, accompanied by hints of thyme, tobacco and liquorice. On the palate it is full and balanced, characterized by a generous heat, mitigated by velvety tannins and a juicy freshness.
COMBINATIONS Throughout the meal, it goes well with pasta with meat sauce, grilled or stovetop meats and medium-aged cheeses.

The 14 for example comes from a plot of 4,000 vines per hectare of old saplings and spurred cordon trained vines. Vinified in steel, it matures in the same containers for about a year before bottling. A red of incredible grace and charm, dynamic, warm, capable of surprising both when first released and after many years.
