TASTING NOTES The color is straw yellow, with clear greenish reflections to the eye. The nose is floral and fruity, characterized by hints of broom, peach and medlar, then followed by a beautiful mineral and limestone imprint, and finally enriched by vegetal references and nuances of aromatic herbs. The sip is balanced and full-bodied, savory and fresh, with good persistence and a pleasantly bitter finish.
COMBINATIONS Ideal to accompany seafood cuisine, it is excellent to be paired with gnocchi with squid.
VERDICCHIO DEI CASTELLI DI JESI CLASSICO DOC "QUERCIANTICA" 2022 - VELENOSI: WHY WE LIKE IT Manual harvesting of the slightly overripe grapes, soft pressing and fermentation at a controlled temperature, then rest in steel tanks until bottling: few ingredients, simple but effective, for a Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi born in the most classic territory of the denomination. Produced by the Velenosi winery, "Querciantica" is a white wine from the Marche rich in substance and fruit, then fresh and fragrant, and finally crossed by a nice savory vein as well as embellished with that typically almond aftertaste that only Verdicchio can give. Upon sipping we find a Verdicchio to be appreciated with our eyes closed, and to be drunk with satisfaction until the last drop. It is one of the best white wines from the Marche region that you can meet.
